Garment length is measured from the base of the collar straight down to the bottom of the hem.
The measurement for garment width is taken across the widest part of the chest, approximately 1" below the armhole.
The traditional measurement for sleeve length is from center back neck to the outer edge of the shoulder seam, then along outer edge to the sleeve hem.
NOTE: Some manufactures measure sleeve length from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem.
