We all know custom t-shirts have incredible marketing power. Printing your brand on a t-shirt is a great way to boost your recognition and build your brand identity. Custom t-shirts are also an incredible way to spread a social message and do social good.
Need some inspiration? Here are our favourite charitable custom printed t-shirts that are making a difference in the world.
Arm the Animals
Arm the Animals provides support for animal welfare organizations. When the organization was founded, most of the animal welfare customized t-shirts were extreme – with provocative graphic images. Arm the Animals combines pop culture, humour, street art and a little snarkiness in their modern looking tees to appeal to the broader public and donates funds from their product sales to several animal welfare charities.
This women’s activewear brand is dedicated to ending world hunger. The custom apparel line features a positive message, such as “Be the Change” or “Do Good”. 10 percent of sales are donated to Action to Hunger, an organization that provides meals to malnourished children in impoverished areas including Uganda, Guatemala and Kenya.
This Canadian apparel company sells t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and outerwear with social environmental messages and wilderness graphics. For every item purchased, 10 trees are planted. The company’s goal is to plant 1 billion trees by the year 2030.
Michael Kors “Watch Hunger Stop”
We love these simple white Watch Hunger Stop t-shirts designed by Michael Kors. These custom printed t-shirts were available for free at Michael Kors stores. For everyone who picked up one of these custom t-shirts and took a photo of themselves in the tee using the hashtag #WatchHungerStop, Michael Kors donated 50 meals to the World Food Program. Get a free t-shirt AND stop world hunger? How amazing is that!
World AIDS Day Victoria Beckham
When she was appointed UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador, the former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham created a personalized t-shirt in honour of World AIDS Day.
The profits from t-shirt sales went to an AIDS organization, such as Born Free Africa, and organization whose mission is to eradicate the transmission of AIDS from mother to child.
