What is screen printing?

We’re so glad you asked!

In screen printing, your logo or design is exposed onto a screen, washed, and set-up on our press, and using a squeegee-type blade the ink is passed through the screen onto the garment to achieve your design.

At Entripy, we specialize in screen printing high-volume custom orders for T-Shirts, sweatshirts, rally towels, safety wear, and sports jerseys. In fact, our state-of-the-art presses can print up to 3,000 garments per hour!

Cost is based on the total quantity to be produced, along with the number of colours in your design as each colour requires an additional screen.

What kind of ink do you use?

Entripy uses plastisol inks that are phthalate and lead-free, tested to the highest standards, along with natural biodegradable products and chemicals in our decorating process. Our plastisol inks are ideal for printing bold, opaque designs on dark fabrics, ensuring your design stand out and lasts.

Will the ink rub off my custom apparel?

Our screen printing is designed to last and will not rub off, crack or peel.  Backed by more than 25 years of experience, R&D, and extensive testing, we ensure every design meets the highest standards in the industry.  Each print is cured through a conveyer dryer, where the ink is heated to 320°F for long-lasting quality.

What is embroidery?

Embroidery is a popular decoration method where your logo or design is sewn onto a garment using a needle and polyester thread. The embroidery process at Entripy is fully automated using top of the line machines and Isacord polyester threads. We custom embroider logos and designs onto hats, hoodies, golf shirts, jackets, bags and so much more!

Can you embroider T-Shirts?

Yes, we can.  However, we recommend against custom embroidery on T-Shirts. The heavy weight of the thread used in embroidery can create puckering on a T-Shirt and produce an uneven design. For custom branded T-Shirts, we recommend printing your design.

What is direct-to-film?

Direct-to-film (DTF) combines durability with precision, and is the latest innovation used by Entripy for on-demand printing.

It involves printing your design onto a special film, which is then heat-pressed onto your apparel.  DTF produces crisp, high-quality prints with vivid, true-to-life colours that stay vibrant wash after wash.  It's versatile enough to print on almost any fabric—from cotton to polyester—with prints that are lightweight, stretchy, and flexible.

Whether your adding names, numbers or logos, DTF is ideal for personalizing uniforms, jerseys, and other custom apparel.

What is tackle twill?

Our college and university student clients love tackle twill! This method of decorating gives a prestigious value to your custom apparel. To customize a garment using tackle twill, the twill material is cut using a plotter machine and is then sewn onto the garment using an embroidery machine.
