Is there a colour limit to my design?

Printing

When it comes to printing, our equipment and team have the expertise needed to handle even the most intricate of designs and colours. Upload your artwork, specify the number of colours and let us take care of the rest.

Embroidery

We have specialized embroidery machines that can support up to 15 thread colours in a single design.  For the best results, however, we recommend keeping the colour count lower as simpler designs tend to look cleaner and more polished when embroidered.

If you're unsure, contact our Client Experience Team who can guide you on the best options for your specific design.

What artwork file formats do you accept?

While vector files are preferred, we accept all the following artwork formats: .ai, .psd, .dpf, .cdr, .eps, .tiff, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .png.

To achieve the best resolution the minimum file size should be 300dpi.

Where do I upload my artwork?

After adding products to your Cart, click the 'Add Artwork' button located under the Decoration Settings to upload your artwork files.

NOTE: orders will not enter production until you have uploaded your artwork and approved your proof and order details.

Can you remove my design background?

Yes! After you upload your artwork, our team will remove the solid background from your design as part of the pre-production process. When you receive your digital artwork proof, it will reflect your design without a background.

Can I edit my artwork after submitting it?

You will receive an email with your digital artwork proof within 3 to 5 business hours after submitting your order.

At this time, you will have an opportunity to make necessary edits. Simply check the box "No, I have changes" and indicate the edits you need made.

A revised artwork proof will be emailed directly to you from our proofing team within 1 to 2 business hours.

How large can you print my design?

The maximum screen print size for a design varies by garment and decoration location.

The maximum print size for an Adult FULL FRONT is 11" W x 12"H and FULL BACK is 12"W x 15"H. For more information on print sizes and decoration locations, please refer to our Artwork Placement Guide.

How large can you embroider my design?

The maximum embroidery size varies by design complexity, garment style and decoration location. Upon seeing the actual design, our team will be able to determine the maximum size it can be embroidered.

For a large design, email our Client Experience Team with your artwork, embroidery location and desired size.  We will advise you of the recommended stitch count, pricing and any size limitations.

Can I use artwork from a previous order?

Yes, no problem! We keep your artwork on file, so you don't need to upload it again.  Just reference your previous Order Number in the Special Notes section and indicate you would like to reuse the artwork, and we'll take care of the rest.

Can I get help with my design?

While we don't offer services to create logos or designs, our Design Studio makes it easy to create logos or designs for your custom branded orders. Choose from a variety of templates, fonts and design elements, or upload your own artwork to bring your vision to life.

Do you recommend tone-on-tone printing?

Tone-on-tone printing refers to printing a colour on top of the same or very similar colour, such as black ink on black fabric.

Please note, if you choose a tone-on-tone colour for printing or embroidery, the result may vary from your digital artwork proof.  Tone-on-tone designs may not be visible at a distance, particularly on lighter or textured fabrics.  As a result, we recommend selecting colours that allow your logo or design to stand out.

Do you Pantone match colours?

While we do not Pantone match colours, Entripy carries an extensive inventory of stock ink and embroidery thread colours.  Our team of experienced technicians match these stock colours as closely as possible to your design.
