About the Toronto Maple Leafs Skate

The Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids is an annual fundraising event that gives fans the opportunity to skate with their favourite players and support kids with physical disabilities in Ontario. The 39th Maple Leafs Skate took place on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the MasterCard Centre in Etobicoke. Nazem Kadri, Auston Matthews, Mitchell Marner, Leo Komarov, and Matt Martin were amongst the players in attendance who took photos, signed autographs and even took some kids for a spin around the rink.

Participants raised a minimum of $150 to take to the ice with their favourite players. Since the event’s inception, over $6.7 million has been raised for Easter Seals Kids. The 2016 skate raised over $110,000.

How Entripy Helped

As the official custom apparel partner of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Easter Seals turned to Entripy Custom Clothing to provide custom hockey jerseys for the skate. Entripy was happy to participate and donated 400 custom jerseys, screen-printed with the Easter Seals Skate with the Leafs event logo. The customized jerseys were a commemorative keepsake for participants, many of whom used their event jerseys to collect autographs from their favourite players.
